Are you an experienced Business Development Manager, Senior BDM or Key Account Manager with a background in pumps, rotating equipment or a technical engineering environment?

Are you looking for the opportunity to take the lead on a specialist product division within a global business, building relationships with major OEM customers and driving the next stage of commercial growth?

This is an excellent opportunity to step into a senior commercial position within an established engineering business, taking ownership of key customer relationships, unlocking new market opportunities and shaping the future growth of its pumps division.

With strong growth already being achieved across the division, the business is looking for a commercially driven professional who can build on this momentum, strengthen existing partnerships and deliver further profitable growth.

This role would suit an experienced BDM, Senior Sales professional or Key Account Manager from a manufacturing, engineering, pumps or similar technical product environment, who is confident engaging with senior stakeholders and is ready to take real ownership of commercial strategy and business development.

The Role:

• Take ownership of key strategic OEM customer relationships, strengthening partnerships and identifying opportunities for growth
• Drive profitable commercial growth across the pumps division
• Identify and secure new customers, markets and business opportunities
• Develop and implement account development and market growth strategies
• Lead commercial discussions, pricing negotiations and contract agreements
• Oversee sales pipelines, forecasts and business development activity
• Act as a key representative of the business at customer meetings and industry events

The Person:

• Proven senior BDM, Key Account Management or commercial experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment
• Track record of developing and growing OEM or industrial customer relationships
• Strong commercial awareness, negotiation skills and business development capability
• Ability to identify new opportunities, develop strategic accounts and deliver sustainable growth
• Confident engaging and building relationships with senior stakeholders
• Knowledge of pumps, rotating equipment or engines would be advantageous
