to join its dynamic catering team. The role supports the Head Chef and Sous Chefs in delivering exceptional food to both the internal college community and external guests at conferences and events.Your key responsibilities will include:Preparing and presenting food to an excellent standardRunning designated kitchen sections and communicating effectively with the teamUpholding the highest standards of hygiene and food safety practicesSupporting training and development of junior chefsManaging stock rotation and minimising food wasteAssisting with menu planning and delivery of a wide range of eventsSupporting pastry operations and acting as shift leader when requiredAdhering to allergen and HACCP proceduresMaintaining a calm and collaborative team environmentWere looking for someone with:NVQ Level 2 in Professional Cookery (or equivalent)
