Immediately availableThis position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong communication and coordination skills, who can produce and manage accurate construction drawings throughout the life cycle of various projects. You will work collaboratively with both internal departments and external consultants to ensure the timely and effective delivery of technical information.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and produce detailed and accurate construction drawings throughout project lifecyclesCoordinate consultants and liaise with suppliers to provide technical information for tender, construction, and sales packsEnsure compliance with relevant legislation including Building Regulations, NHBC, SAP Assessments, PEAs, EPCs, and Robust Standard DetailsLead technical input at pre-start meetings and site visits to resolve construction-related challengesUndertake aspects of the Principal Designer role in accordance with the CDM Regulations 2015Manage consultant appointments and technical fee schedules in line with company proceduresAttend internal and external meetings, reporting key updates and ensuring alignment across departmentsIdentify and propose value engineering opportunities and promote buildability in design solutionsSupport colleagues and coach junior team members where appropriateRequirements:Background as an Architectural Technologist or experience in a similar technical coordination roleBTEC HND/HNC in Design, Construction or equivalentStrong working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Office applicationsExperience working within the residential sector, ideally with a house builder or technical consultancyExcellent organisational and time management skillsStrong communication and interpersonal abilitiesCommercial awareness and ability to manage multiple consultants and technical packagesProven ability to deliver design information accurately and on timeStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsDesirable:MCIAT or MCIOB accreditationCSCS card qualificationExperience using Viewpoint drawing management systemExperience managing technical fees and cost-to-complete forecastsCommitment to continuous professional development and staying up to date with industry changesHow to Apply:If you are interested in working for this established company, please apply with your updated CV.
