Exams Officer
About the Role We are seeking a dedicated and organised Exams Officer to join our friendly and supportive team at an independent special school near Bracknell, Berkshire. This is a full-time, term-time only, permanent position, ideal for an experienced school administrator or someone looking to develop a career in examinations administration within education. The successful candidate will play a key role in the planning, administration and delivery of internal and external examinations, ensuring compliance with awarding body regulations and supporting students to achieve their best outcomes. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and administer all internal and external examinations Liaise with examination boards, teaching staff and senior leaders Manage exam entries, timetables, invigilation arrangements and results Ensure compliance with JCQ and awarding body regulations Maintain accurate records and examination documentation Provide administrative support related to assessments and examinations About You Previous experience in a school administration role or as an Exams Officer is preferred but not essential Strong organisational and time-management skills Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure Confident communicator with staff, students and external bodies A professional, flexible and proactive approach An understanding of SEN environments is desirable but not required Why Join Us?
