Operational IT Support

based at our

Telford Depot .

Hours: Monday to Friday - 8am to 5pm

Salary: £35,000 per annum

PurposeAs operational IT support, you will not only assist with the day-to-day IT requirements of the business but also be leading the way in innovative system changes to improve the overall functionality of the business in order to streamline processes and improve functionality across the board.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will also be expected to assist other members of the Tardis Management team to ensure all systems are in line with company standards and current legislation therefore an ability to multitask, manage complex schedules, and meet changing deadlines is essential.

Job Specification

Review all current systems, ensuring optimisation on software applications

Offer expertise in system improvements in line with company requirements

System programming and roll out for improvements

Educating and training on system changes/improvements

Review and recommendations on new or alternative systems to improve functionality

Maintain and manage the active directory

Configuration of Network, Routers, IPs

Server Maintenance

Network Patching

Configuring hardware and software

Setting up peripherals such as printers or routers

Repairing equipment, and providing daily support for computer network users

Assist and implement new systems where required

Point of contact for external IT, Phones and other companies to manage expectations and ensure implementation of work assigned

Catalogue and store all licenses in safe secure location

Oversee the day-to-day IT for the company

QualificationsEssential to have a degree or diploma in Computer Science
