Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm

Spencer Clarke Group are currently recruiting enthusiastic and caring Unqualified Teaching Assistants to work within specialist provisions across Burnley.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has a genuine passion for supporting children and young people with additional needs. You will be working alongside experienced teachers and support staff to help pupils access learning, develop confidence and reach their full potential.

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with additional needs.

• Help pupils develop their learning, communication and social skills.

• Encourage independence, confidence and positive engagement.

• Support pupils with emotional regulation and behavioural needs.

• Assist teachers with classroom activities and learning resources.

• Build positive and trusting relationships with pupils.

• Help maintain a safe, supportive and inclusive learning environment.

• A genuine passion for working with children and young people with additional needs.

• Personal or professional experience supporting individuals with SEND is desirable.

• A patient, caring, resilient and adaptable approach.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• An enhanced Child DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to pay -50 towards the application and register with the Update Service.

• Availability to work full-time, Monday to Friday, during term time.

• -109.85 per day.

• Consistent weekday hours, 8:30am - 3:30pm.

• Full-time, term-time-only supply work.

• Opportunities to gain valuable experience within specialist SEND and SEMH settings.

• Ongoing support from a dedicated education consultant.
