This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced ecological professional to work on a diverse range of projects across the UK, contributing to meaningful work that supports biodiversity and sustainable development.The RoleYou will be involved in a wide variety of ecological projects, including ecological surveys, reporting, and client liaison. Working alongside a multidisciplinary team, you''ll play a key role in delivering high-quality ecological advice to support planning and conservation outcomes.The Good StuffSalary of 30,000- 40,000 depending on experienceA supportive, friendly working environmentOpportunities for career development and trainingExposure to a wide range of projects across multiple sectorsKey ResponsibilitiesCarry out Phase 1 habitat surveys and protected species surveysProduce ecological reports, including PEAs, PRAs, and EcIAsProvide ecological advice to clients and project teamsSupport mitigation and enhancement strategiesAssist with project management and meeting deadlinesAbout YouA degree in Ecology, Environmental Science, or a related fieldExperience working as an Ecologist or Assistant Ecologist in consultancyGood knowledge of UK wildlife legislation and planning policyExperience with protected species and habitat surveysStrong written and verbal communication skillsA full UK driving licence
