The successful candidate will play a key role in conducting ecological surveys, producing reports, and providing ecological advice, toolbox talks, watching briefs and support to our vegetation management operatives and clients. The role will involve working on various projects across Wales and England, focusing on ECoW work, UK habitat surveys, BNG and protected species surveys.We are a small team and require someone who wants to learn and help with all aspects of projects, from talking to clients and managing their requirements, turning these into quotes, carrying out the work, and finally producing reports for them.Responsibilities for the RoleEcological Clerk of Works, ensuring operatives remain compliant to methodologies and licenses.Conduct ecological surveys and assessments in accordance with relevant legislation, guidelines, and CIEEM best practice standards.Produce high-quality ecological reports, including permits to clear, survey reports, mitigation strategies, BNG Metrics and habitat management plans.Provide ecological advice and support to clients, including liaising with statutory bodies, local authorities, and other stakeholders.Manage projects effectively, ensuring deadlines are met and work is delivered to a high stand
