Supervising Social Worker - Independent Fostering Agency (IFA)Slough Children First 38 per hour (Umbrella) 3-Month Sickness CoverEden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced Supervising Social Worker to join Slough Children First within their Independent Fostering Agency (IFA), on a 3-month sickness cover contract.This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Social Worker with fostering experience to support foster carers and ensure positive outcomes for children and young people.Your daily responsibilities will include:Managing a caseload of foster carers and children placed within foster families.Building positive and supportive relationships with foster carers and children.Undertaking assessments, case planning and reviews of foster carers.Ensuring children and young people are safeguarded and their needs are met.Providing ongoing support, guidance and advice to foster carers.Delivering training and development support to foster carers.Working in line with the National Minimum Standards and Fostering Services Regulations.Essential Requirements:Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration.Previous experience within Children''s Social Care.Ideally, previous experience working within fostering or an Independent Fostering Agency.Good understanding of the National Minimum Standards and Fostering Services Regulations.Strong assessment, planning and relationship-building skills.Ability to safeguard and promote positive outcomes for children and ..... full job details .....
