Senior Operations Manager - HR ProjectsHybrid Pattern Work Pattern Based in BimringhamContract: Interim contract until 29 January 2027 The OpportunityWe are recruiting for an experienced Senior Operations Manager - HR Projects to join a Local Authority on an interim basis, providing additional senior-level capacity while the organisation recruits to the position on a fixed-term basis.This is a newly established role designed to provide dedicated project leadership and delivery capacity across a portfolio of priority People and Culture governance, compliance and employee relations initiatives.The successful candidate will act as the lead delivery manager for strategic People and Culture projects and improvement initiatives, providing specialist implementation, coordination and assurance across governance, compliance, workforce, service improvement and wider organisational priorities.Working with multiple senior stakeholders, you will ensure change activity is effectively planned, coordinated, delivered and embedded, while identifying and mitigating risks that could impact delivery, employee experience or organisational outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesYou will be responsible for:Leading and coordinating a portfolio of strategic HR and People and Culture projects.Supporting the delivery of contract modernisation, including associated compliance and governance requirements.Identifying, escalating and supporting the mitigation of delivery, workforce, compliance and operational risks. ..... full job details .....
