The Interim Management Accountant will play a key role in ensuring the smooth financial operations of the organisation. This temporary role focuses on delivering accurate and timely financial reports to support decision-making within the property industry. Client Details A company in the property sector based in London. Description Prepare and review management accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant standards. Assist with budgeting and forecasting to support financial planning. Provide variance analysis and commentary to explain financial performance. Reconcile balance sheet accounts and resolve any discrepancies. Support month-end and year-end closing processes. Work closely with other departments to provide financial insights and reporting. Assist with audit preparation and liaise with external auditors as required. Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies. Profile A successful Interim Management Accountant should have: A recognised accounting qualification or equivalent experience in accounting and finance. Strong knowledge of management accounting principles and practices. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines. Experience in the property industry is an advantage but not essential.
