The company specialises in delivering mechanical and electrical packages across the commercial fit-out sector, with projects ranging from £2m to £15m. They have a strong pipeline of work and are looking to strengthen their pre-construction team with someone who can produce accurate, competitive tenders and contribute to the successful delivery of new projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Estimator with a background in building services who wants to work on high-value commercial projects within a fast-paced Design and Build environment. The Role Preparing detailed mechanical estimates and tenders for commercial fit-out projects. Reviewing specifications, drawings and tender documentation to establish project requirements. Producing accurate cost plans and bills of quantities for mechanical packages. Obtaining and analysing subcontractor and supplier quotations. Liaising with design, commercial and project delivery teams throughout the tender process. Identifying cost-saving opportunities, value engineering solutions and potential project risks.
