A successful and established company in Kidlington is seeking a motivated individual with experience in Transport operations to support our Operations Manager as a Supervisor in overseeing and enhancing the operational effectiveness of the business.You will be involved in ensuring efficient day-to-day operations, problem solving, managing staff, and implementing strategies to improve productivity and quality. This role requires good leadership skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while fostering a positive work environment.Duties To support the Operations Manager in the execution of his role, helping to ensure operational effectiveness, efficiency and adherence to company policies.To help problem solve as required to address operational issues as they arise.To assist in the line management of 30 plus staff, including assisting in disciplinary processes where necessaryTo assist in compliance with health and safety regulations across the site to maintain a safe working environment for all staff.To assist in overseeing and managing the driver infringements processTo investigate and manage insurance claims across the bus fleetTo manage bus bodywork damage repairTo undertake pre/post hire spot checks on bus standards, including complianceTo support the Transport Manager as neededTo assist the Parts and Service Manager as neededTo manage breakdowns as requiredTo have responsibility for installing and maintaining working bus camera systems (training provided)T
