You will work across a wide range of industrial sites throughout the UK, supporting both existing plant and new installations.A key aspect of the role of Field Service and Projects Engineer is acting as the technical link between customers and external software developers. You will not be responsible for full PLC programming (unless you can do it!), but you will use your understanding of PLC, SCADA and HMI systems to diagnose issues, define requirements, and support system improvements.No two weeks will be the same. Work will include remote technical support, on-site fault finding, inspections, commissioning support, upgrades and project delivery.
