Supply Desk are seeking a teaching assistant for a primary school in Portchester

Starting from May 2025 andnbsp;- July 2025

Pay - andpound;80 - andpound;85 per day

Hours: 8:30 andndash; 3:30

Supply Desk are currently working with a 2 form entry school based in the Portchester area who are seeking a committed EYFS Teaching Assistant to support them predominately in upper KS2 classroom. This school is Ofsted rated andldquo;Goodandrdquo; and has a warm and inclusive ethos that supports all children.

Job Description:

• Desire to work with upper KS2 children (9-11 year olds)
• Working with small groups delivering interventions such as Spelling, Reading, Maths and Literacy
• ICT literate and able to support children with simple ICT tasks
• Full time role with the opportunity of a permanent contract
• Location: Portchester
• Start Date: May 2025
• Contract Length:andnbsp;Long Term andndash;andnbsp;Potential to become permanent
• Hours:andnbsp;08:30 -3:30 Monday andndash; Friday

Individual Profile:

• A nurturing and caring nature
• GCSE Maths and English to A- C grade
• Experience of working with children/young people preferably in a school setting
• Passionate, enthusiastic and proactive individual
• Adaptable and sensitive when dealing with challenging situations
• First Aid trained or be willing to be trained
