Senior Commercial Manager - Central GovernmentSummer-Browning Associates is currently supporting a client within Central Government who is seeking a Senior Commercial Manager for an initial 6-month assignment, with the possibility of extension.Location: London Hybrid WorkingThe ideal candidate will hold active SC clearance and have a solid background in Lead or Senior Commercial Management, with the following skills and experience:Experience in end-to-end procurement within the public sector.Knowledge of the Procurement Act 2023 and related regulations.Proven experience managing end-to-end commercial/procurement processes, from strategy development to contract award, specifically within the Defence or Central Government sectors.Experience in delivering complex overseas Facilities Management (FM) procurements and conducting contract negotiations.Proficiency in developing risk strategies and executing pre/post-award negotiations.Familiarity with business cases in accordance with HMT''s Green Book framework.Experience with e-procurement tools such as SAP Ariba, Jaggaer, or Coupa.Professional certifications in CIPS, IACCM, or similar commercial/procurement qualifications.
