Red Recruitment are currently working with a Redditch based client to recruit a Manufacturing Supervisor on a Temporary basis.

Details:

• Permanent position
• Salary of -30,000 per annum
• up to -5,000 year bonus based on KPI''s
• Rotating shift pattern of 06:00-14:00/ 14:00-22:00 Monday to Friday
• Occasional Night shift holiday cover needed

Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliant with all Health & Safety
• Supervise and organise members of the team ensuring productivity at all times
• Diagnosing breakdown problems and faults
• Quality checking
• Repairing equipment
• Fitting new parts and ensuing equipment is working correctly
• Monitor inventory of materials and equipment
• Maximising production efficiencies
• Fill out any required paperwork currently and ensure this is passed to the relevant person
• Supervise and train members of the team

Experience and Skills:

• An ability to work well under pressure
• Excellent planning and leadership abilities
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
• Proven experience as a supervisor (minimum 3 years, including disciplinary) / people leading
• Experience working to set quality standards
• Basic maintenance experience
• Not afraid to get hands on
• Relevant technical knowledge
• Fork lift experience but not essential
