This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-focused administrator to join a busy, supportive team. You will work closely with rating surveyors and directors on a varied portfolio of commercial property clients. Whether you already have business rates experience or are looking to build a career in the property sector, you''ll gain broad exposure to the rating world. Key Responsibilities Managing and maintaining accurate business rates data for a portfolio of clients across multiple sites. Checking rates bills and demands against liability, and identifying errors, overpayments and refund opportunities. Corresponding with local authorities and the Valuation Office Agency (VOA) on billing queries, reliefs, exemptions and refunds. Supporting surveyors through the Check, Challenge, Appeal process, including preparing submissions and tracking case progress. Processing and monitoring applications for reliefs, including empty property, small business and charitable relief.
