Laing O''Rourke is seeking a passionate Senior Social Value Advisor to lead the creation and delivery of social value strategies across single living accommodation programmes in three regions. Based in Manchester with limited travel, this role offers the opportunity to work across a high-profile MOD framework, shaping impactful initiatives that leave a lasting legacy.

The Role

Be based in Manchester with the project team to plan, coordinate, and support delivery remotelyDevelop and customize local implementation plans from a national social value strategyInspire and guide site teams and project managers to deliver social value outcomes on the groundManage stakeholder relationships, including senior leadership engagementWrite and report on social value plans and KPIs, using frameworks like the UK Government''s Social Value Model and UN SDGsTrack progress and risks, ensuring commitments are met without micromanaging day-to-day delivery

Who You Are

Experienced in running programmes or projects, ideally with social value planning and deliverySkilled at project management and strategic planningComfortable working closely with senior leadership and managing stakeholdersStrong communicator with a personable approachIdeally, you''ve had onsite experience or worked in an office role delivering onsite programmesConfident in tailoring plans to local needs while aligned to national goalsReady to be hands-on with planning and leadership, but not driving across sites every day
