A growing niche specialist Waste Management consultancy is looking to hire 2 Business Development Managers due to growth. You must have waste management sales experience to be considered. This is a remote role, and you can be based anywhere in the UK. The business is owned by a larger recycling/commodities group and is growing in revenues and headcount year on year. These roles suit individuals who identify as hunters with a real eye for detail and strategy, rather than fast transactional selling. You should be comfortable with a long sales cycle, minimal leads, and be resourceful in providing true saving and efficiency findings for clients across the country, mostly within manufacturing markets.Responsibilities

Develop and execute new business opportunities within the Waste Management sector across the UK, primarily targeting manufacturing clients.Navigate long sales cycles with limited leads, delivering tailored savings and efficiency recommendations.Engage with a range of decision-makers including Facilities Managers, Estates Managers, Finance Directors, business owners, procurement teams, health and safety teams, and environmental directors.Operate as a proactive hunter, balancing strategy with execution to drive revenue growth for the consultancy.Qualifications

Proven sales success in Waste Management (including trade, TWM, Hazardous, etc.).Strong numeracy and the ability to engage with diverse audiences.Experience selling WM services and ability to articulate value to senior stakeholders.Compensation

Salary range is dependent on experience, typically basic between £45,000 and £70,000, plus a strong bonus scheme and development opportunities.On-target earnings (OTE) are £80,000 to £100,000 per year. Please only apply if you have Waste Management experience.
