We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Teaching Assistant to work in a welcoming nursery school setting from 5th January until 22nd July, working Monday to Thursday. We welcome applications from both experienced teaching assistants and those with relevant childcare experience who are passionate about supporting young children''s learning and development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the learning, development and wellbeing of children within the nursery setting.
• Help create a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment that encourages exploration, play and curiosity.
• Work alongside the class teacher and nursery team to deliver engaging activities that support the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
• Provide individual and small-group support to meet the needs of all children.
• Assist with observations, assessments and the preparation of learning resources.
• Promote positive behaviour and support children''s social, emotional and personal development.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with young children in a nursery, early years or primary school setting.
• A Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Early Years Education, or an equivalent qualification is highly desirable.
• A good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A nurturing, patient and enthusiastic approach to supporting children.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
