JOB - Senior Project Design Engineer - Electrical andamp; Controls LOCATION - Norfolk TERM - Permanent SALARY - £45,000 - £52,000 DOE My client is a growing electrical engineering business specialising in industrial automation, control systems and low voltage switchgear solutions. Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced Senior Project Design Engineer to join their expanding team, taking responsibility for delivering projects from initial concept and electrical design through to manufacture, testing and commissioning. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer with strong project management skills to work on a varied range of technically challenging projects across multiple industries. The ideal candidate will have: HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering or equivalent industry experience Proven experience in electrical design, industrial automation and control systems Strong knowledge of EN60204 and BS7671 standards Proficiency using EPLAN and AutoCAD to produce electrical schematics and panel layouts Experience designing electrical control panels and backplates Experience managing engineering projects from enquiry through to completion Good understanding of LV switchgear and electrical manufacturing processes Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Experience supporting and mentoring junior engineers or apprentices Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel throughout the UK The ..... full job details .....
