An established multidisciplinary engineering consultancy in Wigan is looking to recruit a Graduate Civil Engineer to support its growing team. You will work alongside experienced engineers on a variety of projects, gaining exposure to different aspects of civil engineering design and project delivery.

As a Graduate Civil Engineer, you will assist with the planning, design and delivery of engineering projects, including:

• Supporting the design of highways, drainage, earthworks and infrastructure works.

• Preparing technical drawings, calculations and reports under the guidance of senior engineers.

• Assisting with site investigations, surveys and inspections, including collecting and interpreting site information.

• Contributing to feasibility studies, risk assessments and engineering appraisals.

• Working with engineers, contractors and other project stakeholders.

• Supporting project meetings, technical documentation and quality assurance processes.

• A degree in Civil Engineering or a relevant engineering discipline.

• A genuine interest in developing a career in civil engineering consultancy.

• Good analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills.

• The ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical information.

• Familiarity with engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Causeway Flow, PDS or MicroDrainage would be beneficial.

• Good written and verbal communication skills.

• A proactive approach and willingness to learn.
