Design Technology / Photography Teacher WakefieldLocation: Wakefield, West Yorkshire Pay: £160 £230 per day (dependent on experience) Start Date: January 2027 Contract: Long-term temporary, potentially until Easter Hours: Full-time or 4 days per week (Monday Thursday)PK Education are recruiting an experienced Design Technology / Art and Design Teacher for a secondary school in Wakefield, starting January 2027.This is a fantastic opportunity for a creative and enthusiastic teacher who can deliver engaging lessons across KS3 Design Technology and KS4 Photography.The Role: Deliver KS3 Design Technology lessons, predominantly CAD.Teach KS4 Photography, supporting pupils with their practical and creative development.Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet curriculum requirements.Assess pupil progress and maintain a positive learning environment. The Ideal Candidate: Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.Has proven experience teaching KS4 Photography essential.Has a strong Art and Design or Design Technology background.Is confident delivering CAD at KS3.Holds an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service or is willing to obtain one.
