Portfolio HR & Reward are supporting a leading public sector business, that are currently seeking an Employee Relations Assistant to join them on a part-time, temporary basis until the end of September 2027.

This role will be based in Exeter, and offers hybrid working.

The successful candidate will receive an hourly rate of -14.10 per hour, plus holiday pay. This role is 16 hours per week, to be worked across Weds-Friday.

As a successful Employee Relations Assistant, you will be responsible for;

• Providing a range of employment support for the HR remit, including creating/updating ER procedures, updating ER Intranet information.
• Providing high quality advice, support and guidance to managers and supervisors in respect of issues linked to ER policy and procedure.
• Assist the Senior ER Officer with delivering projects from conception to implementation.

The ideal Employee Relations Assistant will have experience in the following;

• Previous experience supporting with employee relations around policies, and updating managers
• Good people skills, ability to communicate effectively to senior leaders
• CIPP qualified (desirable)
