The position This is a great opportunity for an experienced Employment Solicitor who is seeking a flexible and remote working role, handling a quality caseload with a well-regarded regional law firm. The role is to assist a busy team, starting end December 2026/early January 2027. The work can be carried out fully remotely, hybrid or on site. Hours can be part or full time (min 21 hours per week) to suit the candidate. The key requirement is that the work needs to be carried out independently, without supervision and by someone who can hit the ground running to pick up and progress matters efficiently. The workload The firm has a strong Employment Law team, which handles a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment law matters, advising both employers and employees. The caseload will include:- drafting and reviewing employment contracts, policies and staff handbooks; advising on disciplinary and grievance procedures, dismissals, discrimination and equality issues, redundancy and restructuring, TUPE and business transfers, absence and performance management, and settlement agreements.
