Description

• Support line managers with HR-related queries and provide practical advice on employment matters.
• Manage employee relations cases, including investigations, disciplinaries, and grievances.
• Assist with recruitment processes, including drafting job descriptions and coordinating interviews.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies across all HR activities.
• Maintain accurate HR records and prepare reports on workforce data and trends.
• Oversee onboarding processes to ensure new employees are effectively integrated into the company.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of HR initiatives and projects.
• Advise and support managers with performance management and development processes.

Profile

A successful HR Advisor should have:

• Previous experience in a similar HR role, ideally within the industrial/manufacturing sector.
• A strong understanding of UK employment law and HR best practices.
• Driving licence and own vehicle
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A CIPD qualification or equivalent would be advantageous.
• The ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities efficiently.
