Warehouse Manager

Location: West London / Surrey
Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 DOE + Benefits

A successful international manufacturer is looking to recruit an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead its UK warehouse operation.

This is a hands-on role combining team leadership with responsibility for the smooth day-to-day running of the warehouse, maintaining excellent standards of accuracy, safety and customer service.

The Role

• Manage the day-to-day warehouse operation
• Lead, motivate and develop a small warehouse team
• Oversee goods-in, storage, picking, packing and dispatch
• Maintain excellent stock and inventory accuracy
• Investigate stock and delivery discrepancies
• Manage workload and resources to meet customer requirements
• Monitor warehouse performance and identify areas for improvement
• Maintain strong Health & Safety and housekeeping standards
• Work closely with internal departments and external transport providers
• Improve warehouse processes and working practices

The Person

We're looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager or Warehouse Supervisor ready to take responsibility for an established operation.

You'll ideally have:

• Previous warehouse management or supervisory experience
• Strong goods-in, stock control and dispatch knowledge
• Experience managing and developing warehouse staff
• Good Health & Safety knowledge
• Experience using warehouse, stock or ERP systems
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
• A practical, hands-on management style

Experience within manufacturing, engineering or technical product distribution would be useful but isn't essential.
