As the successful candidate, you will set and operate CNC multi-tasking lathes to manufacture components from raw materials. Key Responsibilities for the role of CNC Operator Setting and operating CNC multi-tasking lathes Inspecting work produced using measuring equipment to Engineer drawings and reporting any quality defects to supervision Daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance checks on machines, including maintaining good housekeeping standards and reporting any issues promptly to supervision Optimising efficiencies through reduced set-up and cycle times, plus tool life monitoring Deburring, cleaning, final inspection, and completion of all traceability documentation Person specifications for the role of CNC Operator Must be educated to GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English grade C or higher Practical, hands-on experience setting and operating CNC lathes, within a minimum of 4 axis Previous experience in cycle time reduction, tool management
