A leading Tier 1 Main Contractor is seeking an experienced Document Controller to join their growing project team on a prestigious construction project in London.

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised Document Controller with strong Viewpoint expertise to play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of major construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing all project documentation using Viewpoint for Projects.
• Maintaining document control processes and ensuring compliance with company procedures.
• Uploading, issuing, tracking and archiving drawings, specifications and technical documents.
• Managing document workflows, transmittals, RFIs and distribution matrices.
• Liaising with project managers, site teams, consultants and subcontractors.
• Producing regular document control reports and registers.
• Ensuring all project documentation is accurate, up to date and easily accessible.
• Supporting project teams with system training and document management best practices.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working as a Document Controller within the construction industry.
• Strong working knowledge of Viewpoint for Projects is essential.
• Experience working for a Main Contractor, ideally on large-scale construction projects.
• Excellent understanding of document control procedures and project administration.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced project environment and manage multiple deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
