Questech Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of an established FMCG manufacturing business in Sherburn-in-Elmet who are looking for an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering team on permanent night shifts. Location: Sherburn-in-Elmet Salary: Starting from £50,000 per annum Shift Pattern: 6pm 6am (2 on 2 off, 3 on 2 off, 2 on 3 off) The Role Carrying out planned preventative and reactive maintenance across the site. Electrical and mechanical fault finding on manufacturing machinery. Diagnosing and repairing breakdowns to minimise production downtime. Maintaining and repairing motors, conveyors, drives and other production equipment. Working closely with production teams to ensure machinery operates efficiently. Supporting continuous improvement and machinery reliability. Ensuring all maintenance activities comply with health and safety and food safety standards. Maintaining accurate maintenance records and communicating effectively with other departments. The Candidate NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. Previous experience working as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer within an FMCG or manufacturing environment. Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills. Experience maintaining and repairing automated production machinery. Previous food manufacturing experience would be advantageous. Minimum Level 2 Food Safety qualification preferred.
