Learning Mentor Required for Secondary School in BrightonAbout the role:This Behaviour Mentor role is based in a supportive and proactive Secondary school in Brighton, as soon as possible. This has been a challenging time for many of the school''s students, providing a stable and nurturing environment for students.Therefore we are seeking educators to work with a wide range of needs, from children and young people who might need additional support due to a variety of difficulties including a lack of study skills or more complex social and welfare issuesIf you are looking to make a real difference to a students life, this could be the role for you.Your Role:Supporting on a one-to-one basis or in small groupsWorking with other support staff to engage pupils in class and minimise disruptionProviding feedback to teachers and parentsProviding pastoral support and instilling confidence in young learners The ideal candidate:Outgoing and mentoring mannerAn inclusive, positive and creative approach A background that enables you to mentor students up to GCSEEnthusiastic and passionate about helping children reach their full potentialYou will be expected to think on your feet and be proactiveAbility to form excellent relationships and rapport with pupilsHighlights of becoming an Engage Teaching AssistantFull-time and part-time positions availableDevelop your knowledge of the national curriculumIdeal post for graduates looking to move into a career in teachingWhy choose Engage Education?
