Senior Commercial Manager

The Commercial Manager is a key business partner across the agency, working with:Client teams to ensure accounts are compliant and profitable;Product teams to ensure proper project scoping;The Growth Team to provide compelling responses to new business proposals.As part of a proactive Commercial unit, you will deliver consistent commercial analysis and support, targeting margin growth and incremental revenue opportunities. Your responsibilities will include:Business partnering with client leaders and product teams, assisting with contract negotiations and setting terms of business to reflect scope and ensure profitability;Coordinating monthly revenue forecasts and analyzing variances;Understanding and communicating client terms and conditions;Preparing quarterly reports for clients and stakeholders;Managing ad-hoc commercial projects;Supporting commercial training across the agency;Reviewing and approving scopes of work for additional services;Managing scope creep and ensuring contract compliance;Summarizing contract terms to identify growth opportunities;Supporting RFI/RFP processes for prospective clients;Providing commercial proposals and reviewing client contracts;Reporting on client profitability and supporting staff utilization and project profitability.Key skills and qualities include:Problem-solving and research skills;Relationship management with internal and external stakeholders;Effective communication skills, capable of translating complex information;Commercial acumen and operational experience;Product and client knowledge;Operational excellence and process improvement;Persuasion and influence skills.WPP is a creative transformation company that leverages creativity to build better futures.
