Working within a busy and supportive finance team, this is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of a high-volume purchase ledger function within a growing organisation.This role would suit an experienced Purchase Ledger or Accounts Payable professional who enjoys taking responsibility for a busy ledger, resolving supplier queries and working closely with teams across the wider business.Your new roleAs Purchase Ledger Officer, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the purchase ledger, ensuring transactions are processed accurately and suppliers are paid in line with agreed terms.You will work closely with suppliers, internal departments and the wider finance team to resolve discrepancies, maintain accurate records and support an efficient accounts payable function.Key responsibilities will include:Overseeing the day-to-day purchase ledger functionProcessing and matching supplier invoices accuratelyCompleting supplier statement reconciliations and resolving discrepanciesPreparing proposed supplier payment schedulesPosting and allocating supplier paymentsReviewing purchase ledger ageing and investigating outstanding itemsMaintaining strong supplier relationships and resolving queriesReviewing automatic GRNI matching and investigating discrepanciesSetting up new supplier accountsLiaising with other sites and departments across the wider businessSupporting vehicle ..... full job details .....
