Provide professional support to all employees and non-employees (such as contractors, residents, councillors, volunteers etc) on a common and consistent approach to all health and safety matters, aligned with BCC and IOSH values and using a holistic approach. Support the Construction Safety Manager in the provision of and embedding, communication, consultation, participation, maintenance and monitoring of our construction health and safety strategy and management system to ensure the prevention of occupational injury/ill health, improved performance/culture/participation and compliance. Lead and support/supervise a team of safety coordinators and develop constructive working relationships across all areas of BCC Housing and Landlord Services. Collaborate with Corporate Safety, Health and Wellbeing to support governance and enable a consistent approach across services.
