Pathway to Retrofit Excellence is a free 3-week, face-to-face Skills Bootcamp in Walsall designed to help adults gain the skills and qualifications needed for careers in construction and retrofit. Participants will achieve the Highfield Level 2 Award in Retrofit Principles (RQF), the Highfield Level 3 Certificate in Principles and Practices of Assessment (RQF), and a fully funded CSCS Green Labourer Card. The programme includes dedicated tutor support, employability and interview preparation, and a guaranteed interview upon successful completion. Training is unpaid, but learners can progress into employment opportunities such as Retrofit Installer, Construction Operative, Property Maintenance Support, Insulation Operative, and General Labourer.
