Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality, person-centred care and support to a young person with emotional and behavioural difficulties.Build positive, trusting relationships and act as a consistent role model.Support the implementation of care plans, risk assessments, and behaviour management strategies.Promote the young person s independence, education, and social development.Maintain a safe and supportive environment in line with safeguarding procedures and Ofsted standards.Accurately record daily activities, incidents, and progress reports.Work collaboratively with the wider team, external professionals, and family members where appropriate.Participate in shift work, including evenings, weekends, sleep-ins, and bank holidays. Essential Requirements Previous experience working within a children s residential home is essential.Experience supporting children with EBD and/or challenging behaviours.Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection
