Warden Tyne Solutions-are currently recruiting for an experienced Temporary Works Manager for a civil engineering contractor on a major construction project in Teesside.-

Roles & Responsibilities

• Temporary Works Management: Manage temporary works in line with project scope and procedures.-
• Design Coordination: Coordinate temporary works designs, checks and approvals before installation.
• Formwork & Falsework: Oversee formwork, falsework, propping, backpropping and concrete pour requirements.
• Temporary Works Register: Maintain an up-to-date register of all temporary works.
• Manage:-the Temporary Works team overseeing inspection installations to ensure compliance with approved designs and drawings.
• Approvals: Ensure required-authorisations are in place before use, loading or dismantling.
• Health & Safety: Identify and manage temporary works risks, ensuring safe working practices.
• Team Coordination: Liaise with site teams, engineers, designers and contractors to resolve issues.
• Compliance & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of designs, inspections, approvals and handovers.
• Programme Management: Ensure temporary works are planned and delivered in line with project deadlines.
• Problem Solving: Identify non-compliance, implement corrective actions and promote best practice.

The Person:

• Experience as a Temporary Works Manager, TWC or Site Agent with strong TWC experience.
• Strong knowledge of formwork, falsework, propping and RC/structures.
• Knowledge of UK construction health and safety requirements.
• Experience coordinating designs, inspections and site implementation.
• Ability to read technical drawings, method statements and risk assessments.
• Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive approach to safety, quality and compliance.
• Ability to work independently and liaise effectively with site teams and designers.
• Valid CSCS card and availability to work on a freelance basis.
