You must be aged 18 or over to be a customer team leader at Co-op, as you''ll need to authorise age-related sales. We''re looking for Customer Team Leaders to join our team at Co-op. Lead and coach the store team, deputising for the Store Manager when required, while delivering great customer service.Provide friendly, welcoming, easy, helpful and thoughtful service every day, taking ownership for managing the store and handling challenging situations.Develop your team''s capabilities through coaching and training, fostering an inclusive culture where everyone\''s voice is valued and respected.Ensure the store remains safe, legal, and fully operational; manage diligence checks and stock accuracy to make shopping a great experience.Support the Store Manager by deputising when they\''re not working and delivering a variety of HR processes.Lead change by introducing new products and services, working with your team to implement changes and encourage open feedback.Build relationships and engage with the local community to support the local Co-op community plan.Qualifications / What makes a successful member of our team

Friendly and professional people skills with the ability to build positive relationships with customers and colleagues.Strong organisational and problem-solving skills; a desire to learn, grow and develop leadership capabilities.Ability to balance leading and supporting your team while working hands-on on the shop floor.Excellent communication and collaboration; comfortable driving innovation and supporting change.Flexibility to work a range of different shifts.Benefits
