Our client, a well-established and growing organisation based in Bolton, is looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their busy central finance team on a temporary basis for approximately 4-6 months. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Purchase Ledger Clerk who enjoys working as part of a supportive team and is looking to make an immediate impact within a busy finance function. What will you be doing as a Purchase Ledger Clerk?Processing a high volume of supplier invoices accurately and efficientlyReconciling supplier statements and resolving any discrepanciesHandling supplier queries via telephone and emailAssisting with payment runsManaging the finance inbox and ensuring queries are dealt with promptlyMaintaining accurate financial records and meeting key deadlinesSupporting the wider finance team during busy periodsWorking collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the purchase ledger functionWe would LOVE to hear from you if you have the following skills and experience:Previous experience as a Purchase Ledger Clerk, Accounts Payable Clerk, Purchase Ledger Assistant, Finance Assistant or in a similar accounts roleProven experience processing invoices and reconciling supplier statementsA good understanding of the purchase-to-pay processExcellent attention to detail and strong organisational skillsConfident communication ..... full job details .....
