This contract is for a roles in Exeter, a gorgeous city based just off the M5. Good transport links to M5 and A38, Somerset and Cornwall. Can look at 3 to 4 days a week rather than full time contract The suitable candidate will have experience of working with children and families and identifying potential child protection or dealing with ongoing child protection issues The work within the team is of a complex nature, either high end children in need, or child protection. Cases also progress to care proceedings where appropriate hence the need for knowledge around Court work and the statutory requirements for children who are looked after. Applicants need to be experienced in progressing child protection / CIN plans with specific measurable and timely interventions and be able to recognise when further intervention is required to protect the children within their case load and take the appropriate action to address this.
