Groundworker with Confined Spaces

Key aspects of the role: Confined Space Training: Ground workers in this role will have completed specialized training courses, such as the City and Guilds Confined Spaces or EUSR Confined Spaces courses, to gain the necessary knowledge and skills. Safe Systems of Work: They will be familiar with and follow established safe systems of work, including the use of permit-to-work systems for confined spaces. Risk Assessment and Mitigation: They will be able to identify potential hazards in confined spaces, such as lack of oxygen, toxic gases, or engulfment risks, and implement appropriate control measures. Equipment Use: They will be trained in the use of specialized equipment for confined space entry, such as gas detectors, ventilation equipment, and rescue apparatus. Emergency Procedures: They will be prepared to respond to emergencies within a confined space and know how to initiate rescue procedures
