The role combines learning support with co-regulation, restorative conversations and practical help to re-engage with school life.

Key responsibilities

  • Record concerns and progress objectively and work closely with teaching and pastoral staff.

Requirements

  • Experience supporting SEND pupils in a school is essential, including SEMH and distressed behaviour.
  • An understanding of trauma-informed practice and behaviour as communication.
  • Sound professional boundaries and confidence responding calmly to dysregulation; relevant training is welcome.

You must be based in the UK, have the right to work in the UK and be able to commit to a long-term placement. Visa sponsorship is not available. A strong commitment to safeguarding is essential.

What this role offers
