The pupil is well behaved but benefits from having someone alongside them to provide reassurance, encouragement and gentle prompts to stay focused, complete their work and get the most from their lessons.The school will also provide lunch every day for the successful candidate. The role:Supporting a KS3 pupil on a one-to-one basisHelping her remain focused and engaged during lessonsEncouraging her to attempt and complete set workProviding prompts, reassurance and guidance where neededSupporting independence rather than completing work for herLiaising with teaching and SEND staff to provide consistent supportProviding wider classroom support when appropriateFull time, Monday to FridayOngoing role until July 2027The ideal candidate will have:A Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or higherExperience supporting pupils with SEND or neurodiversityA calm, patient and encouraging approachThe ability to build a positive relationship while maintaining appropriate boundariesGood spoken and written EnglishConfidence ..... full job details .....
