TSSI Recruitment (UK) Ltd are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistants to work in our expanding list of client schools in the Borough of Newham and Tower Hamlets. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing essential support to the students, enabling them to access the curriculum, develop essential life skills, towards their personal goals. Key Responsibilities: Work closely with classroom teachers and other support staff to plan and deliver tailored learning activities for students and students with special needs. Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with a focus on their individual needs and goals. Create a safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes the social and emotional development of students. Support students in developing their communication skills, including the use of alternative communication systems. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team, including speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists. Assist in the assessment and tracking of student progress. Promote independence and encourage students to become active participants in their learning. Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
