Job Specification Role: Mental Health Nurse (CPN)Contract Type: InterimLocation: Princess Buildings, HX1 1TSPay Rate: £25.00 - £35.00 per hour (DOE) Overview We are seeking an experienced Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) to support a community mental health service based in Halifax. This is an interim assignment supporting adults with a range of complex mental health needs within a community setting. Key Responsibilities Managing a defined caseload within a Community Mental Health Team (CMHT) Completing comprehensive mental health assessments Undertaking risk assessments and risk management planning Care coordination under CPA Supporting service users with severe and enduring mental health conditions Liaising with MDT colleagues including psychiatry, social work, OT and psychology Safeguarding and crisis management Maintaining accurate clinical documentation in line with NMC standards Essential Requirements Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) Valid NMC registration Proven experience working as a CPN within a CMHT Strong risk assessment and care planning skills Experience working autonomously in the community Knowledge of the Mental Health Act and CPA processes Car driver (preferred for community visits) Eden Brown Synergy is an equal opportunities employer.
