Fire Risk Assessor
The Role As a Fire Risk Assessor, you''ll be responsible for carrying out comprehensive fire risk assessments across our residential buildings, ensuring compliance with the Fire Safety Act 2021, the Building Safety Act, and relevant guidance (such as PAS 79). You''ll work closely with our Asset Management, Compliance, and Housing teams to identify risks, recommend mitigation measures, and support the implementation of fire safety improvements. Key Responsibilities Conduct Type 1-4 Fire Risk Assessments (FRAs) across a diverse range of housing stock.Produce detailed, compliant reports with practical recommendations and prioritised action plans.Support the development of fire safety management systems and policies.Advise on fire safety design, materials, and maintenance of communal and domestic areas.Monitor and review the implementation of FRA actions and report progress to management.Liaise with internal teams, contractors, and external fire authorities as required.Stay up to date with legislation, best practice, and emerging standards in fire safety.
