This is a confidential hire and offers the opportunity to work closely with operations, influencing performance through high-quality financial insight.Key ResponsibilitiesPreparation of monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentaryOwnership of product and operational costing, including standard costs, BOMs, labour and overhead absorptionMargin analysis by product, customer, and production lineWork closely with manufacturing and operations teams to improve cost visibility and controlSupport budgeting, forecasting, and rolling forecastsMonitor and analyse stock valuation, WIP, scrap and yieldSupport month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, and audit processesDevelop and improve costing models, reports, and KPIsIdentify opportunities for process improvement and cost efficiency across the businessCandidate ProfileProven experience as a Management Accountant within a manufacturing environmentStrong working knowledge of manufacturing costings (standard costing essential)Confident partnering with non-finance stakeholders, particularly Operations and ProductionPart-qualified or fully qualified (ACCA / CIMA / ACA) - strong QBE candidates also consideredAdvanced Excel skills; ERP experience highly desirableMethodical, ..... full job details .....
