Job Opportunity Job Description The Healthcare Assistant provides high-quality personal care and support to residents in a safe, respectful and compassionate environment. The role involves helping residents with their daily activities, promoting independence and dignity, monitoring their wellbeing, and working closely with nurses, carers, families and other healthcare professionals. Key Responsibilities: Provide personal care, including washing, dressing, toileting and continence support. Assist residents with eating, drinking and maintaining a healthy diet. Support residents with mobility, transfers and use of mobility equipment. Monitor and report changes in residents'' physical or emotional wellbeing. Record care provided accurately and maintain appropriate documentation. Support residents with medication in accordance with training and care-home procedures. Maintain residents'' privacy, dignity and confidentiality at all times. Encourage residents to remain as independent and active as possible. Provide companionship and emotional support.
