You will be responsible for delivering design work on major sub-systems, from concept through detailed design, and contributing to cutting-edge enhancement programmes and future fusion devices. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact in a technically advanced, high-integrity environment, working on some of the most innovative engineering systems in the UK.Key Responsibilities Lead and support design work on systems, including repair, replacement, or upgrade activities. Develop and implement design requirement management systems and ensure compliance across teams. Validate detailed designs, working with technicians, analysts, and suppliers, ensuring adherence to standards. Deliver projects within customer constraints, producing technical reports, departmental notes, and procedures. Generate technical documentation, including electrical drawings, BOMs, and cable schedules, applying value engineering and design-for-manufacture principles.
